Rising star Mila Kunis was announced recently as the new face for the propaganda articles at the French haute-couture house of Dior.
The twenty eight year old actress known for playing the character of Jackie in the popular sitcom “That 70’s Show” and her part as the antagonist at the 2010 psychological thriller “Black Swan” was confirmed as Dior’s new muse who will work in the same rank as the long line of previous muses such as Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron and Marion Cotillard have done for the prestigious brand.
The Deputy General Manager expressed his feelings of contentment when acknowledging Kunis’s talent and said that she “embodies the modern woman.” While she said that in her life behind the cameras she is doesn’t dress in the most feminine attires there are and that she usually prefers jeans and T-shirt. She also said “to be learning until recently about fashion and that she finds Dior’s designs as incredibly feminine, sophisticated and beautiful.”
The 2012 Spring/Summer campaign pictures taken by photographer Mikael Jansson in which Kunis is shown sporting the latest Dior handbags will be released worldwide this month.
